Review for MultipliCMS.com

It’s time for our first official review and first up on our plate is MultipliCMS.com.  There are a lot of good things about this CMS from the owner down to the actual code so let’s get to it.

We mentioned that good things start with the owner and for a good reason as he has been in ministry for over twenty years.  His name is Stacy Taylor and he has served as a Youth Pastor, Music Minister, Worship Pastor and is even now waiting on God to let him know when to launch his own church!  With an owner so focused on the Lord, it is safe to say that his company is vested in helping other ministries succeed.  It’s just nice to see a company owner that walks the walk and backs up their talk about wanting to help churches.  Not everyone is so ministry minded these days with corporate greed getting in the way…even with websites focused on churches.  But let’s not get off on that soap box, how about that review?

  1. Price: MultipliCMS.com hit the ball out of the park on all of these by offering multiple packages starting at $499 and topping out at $2500.   They have a total of four packages with pricing of $499, $1200, $1800 and $2500.  Their packages and pricing were clearly marked so we didn’t have to go digging through endless pages or having to submit a “get a free quote” form.

  2. Templates or Custom Design: MultipliCMS just launched a new package called “RightNow” that allows them to offer all of the modules of their church website cms for a fraction of the cost of their other packages by creating twenty templates that churches can choose from and then have their logo installed for free.  They also have other packages starting at just $1500 for custom design which is extremely affordable compared to many of the other large church website cms companies out there.

  3. What Do You Get? An easier question would be “what do you NOT get?”.  They have a number of modules that have been custom created to work specifically with church websites like Giving (can be integrated with PayPal), Messages, Calendar, Directions (uses Google Maps), Staff, Small Group and much more.  To see the full list you can go here: http://multiplicms.com/multipli_what?top_cms_id=4

  4. Delivery Time: According to the website, you can get the “RightNow” package in as little as 72 hours so the process is very quick.  The typical delivery time for any of their other packages is around 14 days as long as there are not significant delays during the design process as they allow for up to five days for this alone.

And that’s it for the first review.  We are currently reviewing a short list of other church website cms products out there so if you have one you would like to have reviewed, then go to our Contact page and submit it and we will review it as soon as possible.  As a reminder, we are not trying to endorse one church CMS over another but rather just presenting you with the information we have found and it’s up to you to make the final decision on which one is best for your church.

God bless and happy searching!
